The gourd is naturally shaped by the calabash fruit and polished to a smooth finish. It comes with a rawhide holder that provides a steady base and easy grip, so you can focus on the ritual: fill, tilt, pour, sip, repeat. And just like all real calabashes, no two are the same, making your mate unique.

Our signature yerba
Traditionally smoky and smooth
Our yerba is a classic Argentine “con palo” style (a balanced mix of dried leaves and small stems), produced in Misiones, Argentina. That “con palo” (with stems) blend is known for a smoother flavour. Our yerba is still characteristically mate with a smoky flavour, but less intense and less bitter than styles “sin palo” (without stems).

- Note - Calabash gourds are natural products, so their colour, shape and markings will vary.
- Calabash gourds need curing before first use, to protect the gourd and improve the flavour of your mate.

- Always empty and wipe your gourd after drinking from it. Then, leave it to fully dry out in a well-ventilated place.
